Greg Patterson

Greg Patterson
Lead Vocalist

Greg Patterson (lead vocalist) was born in Anchorage, Alaska. He got to Texas as quickly as he could after that. Greg was reared in a Christian environment and spent his childhood singing a cappella music, which helped cultivate his singing talent and appreciation for tight harmonies. Growing up he was an athlete participating in several organized sports and he also developed an interest in building hotrods. He became known as "Mr. Fix-it" always getting a kick out of helping others develop solutions to mechanical problems. After graduating from College with an Electronics degree, he became a real world Mr. Fix-it.

As a young adult, Greg became captivated by the great Rock & Roll bands of the 60's, 70's and 80's such as CCR, Chicago, Boston, and Foreigner and others, "These guys were awesome". However, his desire to sing rock music did not come to reality until 2002 when Greg decided to team up with classmate guitarist Scott Howard and form the band Midnight Express, "I wanted to bring back the sounds of early Rock & Roll and play it like it was played then".
