Seth McAdow (tenor sax) was raised in Magnolia, TX and currently resides in Huntsville, TX. He graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL with a M.M. in saxophone performance in 2004 and B.M. in saxophone performance from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX in 2003.
Seth started playing saxophone at an early age and has been passionate about playing ever since. In junior high and high school Seth participated in band as well as jazz bands. He made the decision to major in music in college and absorbed many different musical styles. Seth performed in jazz band, chamber music and large ensembles and had great opportunities to work with artists of a very high caliber. As a member of The Blackout Saxophone Quartet Seth won the wind division of the Coleman Chamber Music Competition held at Caltech University in Pasadena, California. Since graduating from college Seth has been a freelance musician and teacher in the Houston area as well as teaching at Sam Houston State University since March 2005.
