Is a trumpet player and band director based in Houston, Texas, where he lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their two dogs. A graduate from Dekaney High School he earned a degree in Music Education at Sam Houston State University, where he trained in orchestral trumpet under Randy Adams and Steve Warkentin.

During his time at Sam Houston State, Henry developed a passion for jazz. Under the direction of Aric Schneller, He developed his skills as a lead trumpet player and soloist, performing with jazz legends such as Bill Watrous, Allen Vizzutti, and Bobby Shew. In 2013, Henry won the American Festival for the Arts concerto competition, performing the Arutunian Trumpet Concerto with full orchestra. In 2014, Henry marched with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps, where the group earned a spot in the DCI finals. In 2017, Henry led a group that went to compete in the National Trumpet Competition where they made Semi-Finals in the Small Ensemble Division.

As a professional musician, Henry has played a wide variety of venues, from church services and regional orchestras to jazz ensembles and cover bands. His primary focus, however, is Latin music. Over the years, he has had the privilege of sharing the stage with acclaimed Latin artists like Arturo Sandoval, Nestor Torres, Maelo Ruiz, and Tony Vega. Henry is a Bell Trumpet artist and plays on a Custom BT3355S.
